“My husband and I started looking for our first house in June and a friend recommended Katie from Lisa Duke Realty.I was pretty nervous at first with this being our first house but after talking to Katie, I felt much more confident knowing that I had a competent realtor who only had my best interests in mind! Katie was very kind and knowledgeable an … d helped to educate my husband and I every step of the way. She was very prompt and returned emails or phone calls almost immediately. I am very picky and critical but she more than exceeded my expectations with showing us properties that fit exactly what we were looking for down to the last detail. She was present for every inspection and service done to the house and pointed out things she was concerned with and went as far as to call in an electrician to look at an issue the inspector found! She also helped me save money on closing by suggesting we ask the sellers for things they already had such as the survey! Within minutes of me asking she sent me the floor plan with dimensions for planning out carpet. She also helped me through things in the loan process that I was unsure about since I have never dealt with a mortgage before. She truly did everything she could to help us regardless of whether it was her job or not. She is such a great person and even after closing she continues to help us when we have questions about the house.
